Twenty-two years writing software, a good part of it leading teams: at one point close to sixty people reported to me directly, these days around ten. The weight has shifted to architecture — I advise every team on the systems they build, IoT is mine, and the problems nobody else could crack end up on my desk. I never stopped writing code, which is why the path tracer behind this site is hand-written.

This site stands inside a path tracer: a ray is fired from the eye for every pixel, the rays bounce off the walls, and the samples pile up until the image clears. Step in if you want to walk around; if you only want to read, the list below is enough.
